A site which compares the properties and applications of wood, plastic, aluminium, brick, concrete, cast iron and steel. Each can be squeezed and stretched.

  Labelling Materials
A drag and drop activity where learners match the correct label to each material.
The Mixture Lab
Learners have to separate mixtures of substances - sand and iron filings, salad, muddy water and dust in the air. By dragging and dropping the correct 'separation mechanism' to the correct mixture drop down lists appear in the grid to record the results.
