Group/Changing Materials An animation involving a number of tasks concerning specific properties of the materials given. Finally, there is a 10 question quiz.	Sorting Clothes Not exactly materials but may give learners an idea of sorting different items.	Virtual Community Another must use resource. Includes 4 activities - Build a House (technology/design/materials), Happy House (energy use) and Journey Planner and Transport Trumps (environment).	Separating Materials Test A 9 question test marked online covering dissolving solid mixes in a liquid to make a solution to separate materials.
Materials A site which compares the properties and applications of wood, plastic, aluminium, brick, concrete, cast iron and steel. Each can be squeezed and stretched.	Sorting Magnetic Objects Not exactly a range of materials but may give learners an idea of sorting different items.
Non/Permeable? A powerpoint presentation which explains what the words mean so learners can sort items on this basis.	Sorting Resources Not exactly materials but may give learners an idea of sorting different items.

Separating Materials A powerpoint presentation which explains who some materials can be sorted by dissolving.

	Labelling Materials A drag and drop activity where learners match the correct label to each material.	The Mixture Lab Learners have to separate mixtures of substances - sand and iron filings, salad, muddy water and dust in the air. By dragging and dropping the correct 'separation mechanism' to the correct mixture drop down lists appear in the grid to record the results.
	Sorting Natural and Man Made Materials A drag and drop activity where learners sort natural and man-made materials.
