Beach Mission 4 (Tidy) A 9 question quiz to test understanding of what items can be tidied and which are dangerous and should be left.
Beach Litter 1 A short animation about beach litter to stimulate discussion.	Glass Re-cycling Game A 'drag and drop' activity where learners have to sort rubbish on a conveyor belt into the correct recycling bins.	Compost A site suitable for demonstration or basis for project work. It asks what is composting and how is compost made. It gives some ideas for things to do at home and a short quiz.	House Mission 1 (Reduce) A 3 question quiz to test understanding of the associated activity.
Beach Litter 2 A series of animated slides which explain where beach litter comes from and one of the schemes to counteract this including a 6 question quiz to test understanding.	House Mission 1 (Reduce) Learners investigate all the energy being used in each of the rooms in the house and then take the quiz.	Packaging at home A site suitable for demonstration or basis for project work. It asks what do we use packaging for and how we can reduce this. It gives some facts and figures. Ideas for things to do at home and a short quiz.	House Mission 2 (Reuse) Learners answer 3 questions about reusing items.
Business and Industry A short video clip highlighting some of the problems associated with waste pollution.	How much of a waster? An 8 question quiz marked online. However, this is more of a questionnaire to find out how wasteful individuals are. Again comparisons may provide useful discussion.	Recycle Aluminium A site suitable for demonstration or basis for project work. It asks what do we use it for, how it can be recycled in the home. It gives some facts and figures. Ideas for things to do at home and a short quiz.	Rockware Quiz A hidden picture format quiz. To reveal the picture learners have to answer correctly 9 questions. Some of the questions make this only suitable for more able learners.
Composting for kids A series of slides showing how to create compost, what to include and the benefits it has for plant life.	Hungry Mice An excellent activity for getting learners to identify non-renewable from renewable resources. Learners have to get the mice to eat the non-renewable as they travel the maze. Focus on Waste A complete project giving information and activities to perform covering plastic, e-waste and the policy of reduce, re-use and recycle.	Is your brain full rubbish? An 8 question quiz marked online. It would be unlikely for anyone to know the answers to the questions but comparing 'guesses' about amounts of rubbish created may be worth discussion. Virtual School Looking at the various areas of school and the problems and solutions associated.	Sing Along with Cycler An interesting rubbish rap. Music and words provided by a singing robot.	Recycling our responsibility Part 1 is the 'Responsibility Calculator' learners enter information and the calculator works out the amounts for a whole year. This may surprise some learners. Part 2 is a 'drag and drop' word cloze activity. By breaking the 6 bottles 6 words are possible
Waste A series of animated slides which consider the waste we throw away and which of these items could be recycled. Information on glass, plastic, aluminium and paper.	Sorting Game A drag and drop activity where learners have to sort through a pile of rubbish and place it in the appropriate pile. Information is given if things are placed in the wrong place.	Strange but true Learners have to choose which of the three inventions concerning reducing fuel consumption are true. Possibilities for excellent discussion.
	Tumbling Trash An activity in which learners sort out rubbish coming down a conveyor belt into the various categories using the arrow keys to move the re-cycling containers.	Team Plastics This activity will need some background knowledge and may be only suitable for the more able. Learners have to create specific plastics by deciding which atoms to use.
	Virtual School As learners 'hover' over sections of a cut-away school a problem and a solution to that problem are given. 		Wasted An excellent game based on the concept of re-using or recycling. Learners have to decide what to do with a number of plastic items in their bedroom. Good decisions earn points.
