Chain Reaction An excellent interactive animation which explains herbivore, carnivore and omnivore and food chain. Learners 'drag and drop' pictures and construct a food chain and then posed the question about the results if one element is removed.	Arctic Food Web A 'drag and drop' activity sorting out an arctic food chain.	Farm Ecosystem An animated site which explains the balance between the number of blueberries grown with the number of bugs and birds. Learners can change the amounts of fertiliser and pesticides used and show how the balance changes.	Food Chains A difficult 'drag and drop' activity linking producer, herbivore and carnivore. This requires a broad knowledge of sea life.

Energy Pyramid An excellent series of animations explaining the energy pyramid. Words included are ecosystem, producers, herbivores and carnivores. Energy pyramids are explained for a forest, prairie and ocean habitat.	Food Chains 1 A series of slides giving information linking to a drag and drop activity creating a food chain.	Food Chain Drag the parts of the food chain to their correct place. As you go through the levels they get harder. An excellent activity.	Food Chain Picture Puzzle Learners have to look at the food chain and click on the picture of the missing link. Each correct answer takes you to the next of 10 questions.
Pond Ecosystem An excellent series of short video clips explaining how birds, frogs and plants form a pond ecosystem.	Food Chains 2 A series of slides giving information on 'producers' and 'consumers' linking to a drag and drop activity identifying producers and consumers.	Fun with Food Webs An excellent drag and drop activity in 3 different habitats - a meadow, the arctic and a pond. Learners drag and drop the animals into their correct place in the food web.
