A series of demonstration, practice, extension and testing activities on changing state including solids, liquids, gases, humidity, evaporation, condensation and changes which are reversible and irreversible.

Changing Matter An excellent animation showing how by heating ice it can be a solid, liquid and gas.	Changing State Activity An animation with a number of tasks to perform. Water being heated and cooled and what happens at each stage. This is followed by a simple quiz to test the understanding of the concept learned.	Brain Pop Video Humidity A short animation explaining humidity, condensation and relative humidity. This is followed by a quiz testing the understanding. This is only suitable for more able learners.	Changing Materials Test Test checking knowledge and understanding of this topic.
Changing State Revision A series of screens covering all aspects of this part of the curriculum.	Gases Around Us An animation with a number of tasks to perform. A liquid being heated and cooled and what happens at each stage. This is followed by a simple solid, liquid and gas sorting activity and a quiz to test the understanding of the concept learned.	Evaporation Learners choose a container and humidity in both rooms, then decide which will evaporate first.	Changes of State Quiz A 10 question quiz marked online.

Adding items to water, which dissolve and which don't. Heating and cooling, which of the experiments are reversible and which are not? Finally, a simple quiz to test the understanding of the concept learned.	Hotter or Colder? A series of questions which will test learners understanding of the concepts of hot and cold.
