5 a day challenge | Arrow Key Skills Using the arrow keys learners have to eat the fruit and vegetables whilst avoiding the junk food.

Alien Encounter | Arrow Keys | Space Bar Skills Another version of space invaders where the space bar shoots and the arrow keys move.

Alphabet Falls | Mouse Skills Learners have to move the mouse to catch the falling uppercase and lowercase letters. These are then dragged and dropped into their correct places on the board to solve the code.

Amazons v Athenians | Arrow Keys | Space Bar Skills A game which mixes history with keyboard skills. Choose a side and start the battle. To attack Amazons fire arrows and Athenians block with shields.

Apple Catch | Arrow Key Skills A simple game of moving the cartoon character with the arrow keys to catch the falling apples.

Bang on time | Mouse Skills Learners have to stop the clock at the precise time given by clicking on the mouse.

Bear's Skateboard | Mouse Skills Learners move Bear around the course on his skateboard to hit the letters required to spell the word at the bottom of the screen.

Bees and Honey | Mouse Skills 3 simple games where learners have to click on specific moving items on the screen. Excellent for developing mouse skills.

Big Comfy Couch | Mouse Skills Learners simply have to click on the colours and not the characters which appear on the couch. Simple mouse movement and clicking activity.

Big Top Snack Hop | Mouse Skills | Arrow Key Skills A simple activity using the mouse to click on screen arrows or the keyboards own arrows.

Big Top Snack Stand | Arrow Key Skills A simple game of moving across a board using only the arrow keys.

Bike Game | Arrow Key Skills Using the arrow keys learners have to keep the cyclist balanced for the longest time.

Boat Race | Arrow Key Skills An activity on a number of levels which as the title suggests are boat races. The controls again are the arrow keys, the upward one being the accelerator control.

Bob builds a playground | Drag and Drop | Mouse Skills Bob the builder builds a playground.

Bob catches apples | Mouse Skills Using the mouse catch the apples in the basket.

Bob collects the bricks | Arrow Key Skills An activity in which learners collect bricks using the arrow keys.

Bob finds the spanner | Space Bar Skills | Following Instructions Learners have find the spanner hidden in the picture by watching the thermometer. Then take part in a race pressing the space bar when instructed.

Bottle Recycler | Keyboard Skills Shoot bottles and match their colours. Press either [L] or [J] to change the angle of the shooter, and press [K] to shoot.

Brain Gymnastics | Mouse Skills A test of a learners precise skills by removing coloured balls within a restricted area.

Breakout | Mouse Skills Click anywhere to start a game. The paddle will track the mouse pointer. Knockout all of the red bricks to get to the next level. The ball moves faster and the paddle becomes smaller with each successive level.

Broken Mouse | Mouse Skills Try to complete the simple tasks with an inconsistent and uncooperative mouse.

Brownie Bears Boatride | Arrow Keys Using the arrow keys learners have to steer Brownie Bear through the logs and other obstacles in the river.

Build a Rudolph | Drag and Drop | Mouse Skills A 'drag and drop' activity for young learners to build a Rudolph reindeer.

Build a snowman | Drag and Drop | Mouse Skills A 'drag and drop' activity for young learners to build a snowman.

Catch the Colours | Mouse Skills An excellent activity requiring skills of concentration, colour identification, hand-eye coordination, reaction skills and mouse skills. Learners have to simply click on the coloured disks which are revealed but not hit those with the cartoon characters.

Climb the stairs | Arrow Skills Using the arrow keys learners have to walk the man up the stairs taking care of his heart rate.

Coconut Cricket | Mouse Skills An activity which tests the speed of mouse clicks. One click launches the ball the second click hits the ball. Not as easy as it sounds.

Connect the Dots | Numbers 1-10 | Mouse Skills Learners click on the numbers to create lines which join to make a picture.

Connect the Dots | Numbers 1-15 | Mouse Skills Learners click on the numbers to create lines which join to make a picture.

Dino Drawing | Mouse Skills A simple mouse skill activity placing dinosaurs into a background.

Dodgeball | Mouse Skills Click all the balls in order whilst carefully avoiding the others. Stay alive as long as you can.

Dodge 'em Dot | Mouse Skills A fast moving game where learners have to move their mouse to help Dot avoid the obstacles. Very fast.

Falling Words | Typing Skills | Keyboard Skills This is the shortest and most intense of the different typing games. Type words as fast as possible to prevent them from crashing into the ground.

Fireworks| Pets | Arrow Keys An activity using the arrow keys to try and stop as many pets as possible getting near the fireworks.

Fish World Drawing Game | Mouse Skills A very simple mouse skills exercise where young learners click on a fish and position it in the fish tank.

Fling the Fish | Mouse Skills Learners have to move the eyesight over the sea lions and click to feed them the fish. They appear at various places on the screen so learners have to constantly move the mouse. Excellent to get learners to look at the screen rather than the mouse.

Fly Swatter | Mouse Skills A silly game which will develop hand eye mouse coordination as learners try to swat the flies that appear.

Focal Points | Typing Skills | Keyboard Skills Use your typing skills and your concentration to catch the targets are they pass over different numbers.

Follow the Boat | Mouse Skills Learners simply follow the boat as it moves up and down through the waves using the mouse to track the movement.

Follow the Helicopter | Mouse Skills Learners simply follow the helicopter as it moves up and down through the air using the mouse to track the movement.

Frankenbunny | Mouse Skills The type of activity young learners will love. A simple concept of tickling the rabbit as  it pops it's head out of the burrow. The game requires  mouse skills and concentration along with hand-eye co-ordination.

Freda Fillet | Mouse Skills Learners control the swimming of a fish to avoid the hazards found in the sea using the mouse to create the movement.

Frog Programming | Arrow Key Skills A simple activity at 2 levels where young learners have to move a frog around a pond using the arrow keys on the screen.

Funny Farm Parade | Arrow Key Skills An activity for young learners where use of the 4 arrow keys are needed to herd up all the animals that have escaped and get them back in the pen.

Get me out of here! | Arrow Key Skills Another game of moving through various scenes to find a variety of items. The learner has to use all the arrow keys, the space bar and the control button to complete the task.

Getting Spongy Game | Mouse Skills A silly game that young learners will love. A coloured pie lands on the wall, the learner has to click on the correct coloured sponge and then wipe it off. When there is a shout of 'duck' that's what has to happen. All about hand eye co-ordination.

Gigglewick Park | Arrow Key Skills Using the arrow keys and spacebar learners have to move and collect falling acorns.

Head North | Arrow Key Skills A game based on moving a character up the screen via moving levels using arrow keys and space bar.

Hit 10 Alligators | Mouse Skills Learners click on the alligators as they appear.

Hurdles Game | Arrow Keys Using the arrow keys learners have to run their character as fast as they can the length of the running trackl.

Keyboard Game | Keyboard Skills An activity where learners click on the keyboard key of the letter highlighted on the onscreen QWERTY keyboard. The activity is against the clock.

Making a Splash | Mouse Skills Learners have to move the mouse around the screen and click the left mouse button to put out the fires. An excellent way for learners to gain mouse skills.

Mole in his hole | Mouse Skills An activity for very young learners to develop fine mouse skills. The idea is to 'grab hold of the mole' and pull him through the tunnel without touching the sides.

Monkey Lander | Arrow Key Skills A not so simple game of trying to fly a spacecraft and collect a number of items before landing.

Mouse Click Reflex | Mouse Skills The objective of this game is to click on the green squares as they appear. But you must be quick or else you'll leave a trail of brown squares, if you click and miss, you'll put a white square. The time limit is 60 seconds.

Move around the office | Mouse Skills Using the mouse learners have to get everyone to the meeting on time.

Multi Ball | Mouse Skills An activity in concept which gets harder the better you get. Learners have to use the mouse to click on the coloured balls which then turn a different colour.

Number Lessons 1-8 | Keyboard Skills A series of activities for learners to understand the number keys on the keyboard.

Parcel drop | Arrow Key Skills Learners have to use the arrow keys to fly a helicopter and pick up a parcel and deliver it to the person who's picture is on it. Excellent skill training.

Pete's Treasure Chest | Arrow Key Skills Using the arrow keys learners have to steer the pirate ship around the obstacles and reach Treasure Island.

Picking saffron with Kwala | Mouse Skills A 'clicking' activity for very young learners helping develop mouse skills.

Ping Pong Challenge | Mouse Skills A game of table tennis which will develop mouse skills.

Poacher Patrol | Arrow Key Skills Another game which uses a combination of arrow keys and space bar skill to throw animal dung at the poachers.

Poppy Penguin | Drag and Drop | Mouse Skills Ordering, sequencing, thinking planning skills.

Put the Builder together | Drag and Drop | Mouse Skills A drag and drop activity for very young learners to recreate the builder.

QWERTY Warriors Typing Skills | Keyboard Skills An excellent game on a number. of levels. Learners have to type in the words below each of the opposing warriors to fire at and kill them. Learners will love this.

Race | Mouse Skills An activity for very young learners to develop fine mouse skills. The idea is to control the speed of your 'runner' in a 4 lap race. I tried every tactic I could and never won!!!

Raining Pizza | Mouse Skills Learners have to move the dog using the mouse and catch the falling pieces of pizza. The speed increases as you go up the levels.

Right Place | Drag and Drop | Mouse Skills A drag and drop activity for very young learners to identify the habitat of each animal.

Road Runner | Mouse Skills An activity for young learners to develop fine mouse skills. The idea is to control the racing car to avoid other cars and debris on the track. I have to admit I found this hard.

Rocket Ralph | Mouse Skills Steer the spaceship away from the Martian craft which sends out plasma bombs using the mouse to control.

Rocket Monster | Mouse Skills A game in which learners have to use mouse movement and mouse click skills to project the monster as far as they can.

Roving Reporter | Arrow Key Skills Another game using arrow keys to move a car around a map to collect a series of items.

Sail the ship to the Lighthouse | Arrow Key Skills 6 alternative maps (the last one learners create) for learners to steer the ship through the rocky outcrops using the arrow keys.

Save the Sailboat | Typing Skills | Keyboard Skills An excellent typing activity on 3 levels. A game where learners type the words falling towards the ships otherwise they hit and destroy your them.

School run game | Arrow Key Skills As the character moves around the board using arrow keys he encounters items which are healthy and unhealthy.

Sea Adventure | Arrow Key Skills A site which combines arrow key and map reading skills. Learners have to 'fly' to 10 different places on the map. Not easy..........for me anyway.

Seaweed Safari | Mouse Skills A scoring game where learners control a swimmer with the mouse trying to collect as many points as possible.

Sentences | Typing Skills | Keyboard Skills An excellent keyboard and typing activity on 3 levels. Learners have to click on the keys to make up the words in the sentences shown on the screen the against the clock.

Sheep Game | Mouse Skills An activity in which learners have to round up the sheep using the mouse and put them into the sheep pen. Sounds easy........you have never worked with sheep.

Shoot the Balloon | Arrow Key Skills Using the arrow keys and spacebar learners have to shoot arrows to burst the colour of balloon requested.

Snowball | Arrow Key Skills A very simplistic keyboard skills activity moving Kwala across the screen and throwing snowballs at the snowmen in order to knock off their hats.

Snowball Spud | Mouse Skills A Bob the Builder Game where learners have to click on Spud as he appears from one of the dustbins.

Space Fleet Commander | Typing Skills | Keyboard Skills An excellent typing activity on 3 levels. A game where learners type the words coming towards them otherwise they hit and destroy your spaceship.

Speed Test | Number | Typing Skills | Keyboard Skills A simple typing activity against the clock.

Speed Typing | Typing Skills | Keyboard Skills The object of this game is to type the 12 words in each round as quickly as possible, without making any typos. The words get progressively longer as you work your way towards 12 in a row.

Spooky Lost and Found | Mouse Skills An activity where young learners have to identify the hidden shape of an object in a picture and click on it.

Steady Hand Bubble Maze | Mouse Skills An activity for very young learners to develop fine mouse skills. The idea is to 'grab hold of the bubble' and pull it through the tunnel without touching the sides.

Swimming Game | Arrow Key Skills Using the arrow keys learners have to swim their character as fast as they can the length of the swimming pool.

Switch off the Lights | Mouse Skills A light bulb version of the game Othello. The object is to have more light bulbs of your colour. By placing two of your colour traps your opponents and turns them to your colour.

Tap and Colour | Keyboard Skills Colouring at its simplest. Learners choose one of the pictures. As they click on the keyboard keys the pictures colours itself in.

Termite Tower | Mouse Skills Learners have to drag the termite from the start to the end of the maze collecting points as they go using the mouse. The zoom button helps see the route.

The Red Rope | Arrow Key Skills Using the arrow keys move the slave votes to the area in the top right hand corner of the screen.

Tidy the Classroom | Mouse Skills An activity introducing learners to the 'single click', the 'double click' and 'drag and drop'. Learners have to find the various hyperlinks in the classroom picture and follow the instructions.

Time Machine | Arrow Key Skills An activity where learners have to guide marbles through a series of obstacles using the keyboard arrow keys. Should keep some occupied for hours.

Timed Typing Tests | Typing Skills | Keyboard Skills A series of simple typing tests against the clock.

Trace the Animal | Mouse skills Learners have to trace around a series of animals from the Start Button to the Finish Button.

Trench Game | Arrow Key Skills A game set in World War 1 in which you have to collect the correct map and deliver it to the Captain before the men 'go over the top'. Move around the trenches using the arrow keys.

Trolley Dash | Mouse Skills Learners have to move their trolley around a supermarket using the mouse collecting the items on their shopping list.

Typing the Alphabet | Keyboard Skills As learners click on a keyboard letter the onscreen letter becomes highlighted.

Typing Space Frogs | Typing Skills | Keyboard Skills An excellent typing activity on 3 levels. A game where learners type the letters on the flies falling towards the frogs to keep them on a diet. Kids will love it but will let the frogs eat the flies just to hear the sounds. Well I did!!

Typing Space Invaders | Typing Skills | Keyboard Skills An excellent typing activity on 3 levels. A space invaders game where learners type the letters under a space invader to blast it. Kids will love it. Well I did!!

Typo 1 | Typing Skills | Keyboard Skills Type as quickly and accurately as you can. Avoid making mistakes or fall into traps. Only for keyboard familiar learners (typists).

Typo II | Typing Skills | Keyboard Skills A sequel to the original Typo, this game also requires you to type quickly and accurately. Keep pace with the game or you lose.

UFO Attack | Mouse Skills A game based on shooting down UFO's however the combination usage of the mouse button to fire the missiles and the mouse to guide the missiles to their targets is harder than it sounds.

Up for the cup | Mouse Skills An activity in which the learner controls a football player, by use of the mouse, in an attempt to score goals and progress to 4 higher levels. I could tell you more but I couldn't get beyond the first level.

Vending Machine Mania | Mouse Skills Catch the food by moving your mouse before it hits the floor! Be careful! You may not want to catch it all! You have to decide which of the falling foods is good for you. Try not to give any of the bad food to your friends!

Weightlifting Game | Keyboard Skills Using the 'a', 'z' and 'q' keys learners lift the weight and then place it down with the space key. Not as easy as it sounds.

Windmill Maze Mouse Skills A mouse skills activity for very young learners clicking on a 'trail of eggs' which forms the path through the maze.

Words | Typing Skills | Keyboard Skills An excellent keyboard and typing activity on 4 levels. Learners have to click on the keys to make up the words shown on the screen the against the clock.

What is it? | Mouse Skills Learners have to click on the squares in the grid until they are all the same colour for a picture to be revealed. There are a number of pictures involved. Simple mouse and click skills.

Writing on lines | Mouse Skills A simple resource which allows learners to 'write' on screen with a big chunky pencil. This resource has many English uses and could be used on an interactive whiteboard. It does however develop excellent mouse control skills at the same time.
