Demonstration Activities

Chez Mimi - Dress 2 Impress vocabulary Move the mouse around the menu page, click on the 'Knowledge Area' then on Glossary item 'Dress 2 Impress'. Useful for learning key vocabulary for clothing accessories and items split into masc. and fem. words.

Les Vêtements - Lexique Click on 'Lexique' on the menu on the right. Choose from 'homme', 'femme', 'mixte' or 'accessoire' to reveal some useful vocabulary with sound. There is also an excellent series of 5 listening exercises.

Les Vêtements - Prix Click on 'Prix' on the menu. An excellent listening activity suitable for whiteboard matching prices with items of clothing. Need to be confident with numbers.

The verb - porter, Match Up activity Match the correct form of the present tense of the verb with the subject.

Extension Activities

Acheter des vêtements A more difficult activity requiring knowledge of agreement of colour adjectives. Look at the picture then type in the missing letters from the words describing the clothes.
